This is the original, the tubing that Mikael Frödin and Håkan Norling have used since the early 80’s. This is the tubing that changed the use and looks of tube flies forever. It’s adapted to all kinds of modern tube flies, more flexible and durable than any other tubing material. The tubing comes in four diameters; XS fits in M and S in L. 19 different colours in four diameters give almost endless possibilities. FITS Brass Turbo Cones
The original turbo! This is the cone that was made to make the fly swim better than any fly has before. The cone divides the water and creates turbulence that will make your fly move and look alive. With the turbos you can use the softest materials without them collapsing in the current. The fly creates its own little turbulent stream where the materials can move even in the slowest or strongest current. If you believe in a moving and lively fly, then this must be your first choice. The brass turbo gives the fly a broad translucent profile.

FITS Brass Turbo Tubes
The TTT – Tungsten Turbo Tube invention hit the salmon tying world with great success. It has been a revolution for flies fished with loose bodies and hooks. . This is yet another of Mikael’s innovations – a feather light tube with effective fishing in focus. The endless color and weight combinations is another step towards the perfect tube fly. Two wallets with TTT and BTT-flies and one with loose bodies of different design gives a super effective way of choosing the right fly for the specific condition. Hover a super light BTT-fly in slow water or get under the waves in the fastest part with TTT. The BTT as well as the TTT is made to create turbulence and open up materials for a translucent fly. Lined with XS FITS tubing, integrated or fished loose hanging. The BTT comes in three feather light sizes: 4, 6 and 8 mm diameter – all in our 17 colors!

FITS Tungsten Cones
This is the Frödin traditional tungsten cone. It may seem like a traditional cone head, not much different from those already available on the market – but they sure are not! These extremely thin tungsten cones have several advantages. The thin design makes them cover more thread and make them a lot easier to tie with. They have the traditional advantage of the weight concentrating properties of standard tungsten cones. The difference is that they balance better in the water for their size. The shape of the cone makes it cut the water nicely and they are very easy to tie with. The regular tungsten cone gives the fly a rather slim profile.

FITS Tungsten Turbo Cones
This is a further development on the original turbo cone. Mikael’s idea on a cone that uses simple physic laws to make the fly swim better than anything ever seen before. The unique idea that has been copied by so many. Mikael has developed a tungsten version that not only opens up your soft fly in a seductive way, it also balances your fly to a perfect swim. Frödin has kept the two smallest popular sizes and added a micro turbo for the smallest summer flies. The combination TTT and micro turbo is a new combo that gives durable super effective fishing flies. The turbo cone gives a fly with a broad translucent profile.

FITS Tungsten Turbo Tubes
Another revolutionary fly tying product from Mikael. The TTT can be used in several different ways. Central is the high specific weight and a design that opens up soft materials without collapsing – all to create that perfect swimming fly. On the TTT you tie on the neck in front of the cone, lean the material against the back of the tube to create the perfect drop formed fly. As simple as genius! For those of you who prefer a lacquered tying thread head – there is enough room for that. If you prefer to finish your fly with a cone, just let it slide down tight in front of the tube. FITS TTT are made to fish with a loose hanging hook, lined with XS Tubing. But is just as good to integrate with M FITS Tubing. If you prefer to fish them loose hanging, M or S FITS Tubing is perfect to use as a short body and hook holder.

SSS Glitz Dubbing
SSS Glitz is a long fiber flash dubbing with extreme characteristics. Unlike the usual SSS Dubbing that is built on translucent synthetic fibers, Glitz is built up of flash fibers in several qualities and colors. A dubbing mix may contain up to 15 different types of fibers. All helping to achieve those perfect glittering seductive characteristics without tangles of fibers. Of course, Glitz is a dubbing with fibers that are long enough to be brushed to perfection, even on the largest of flies. It is well suited for larger salmon and sea trout flies. SSS Holo Braid
This is the second generation of the fantastic Frödin braid. There 15 holographic colors which with its unique, strong color and reflection gives fantastic bodies and super strong glittery ribbings in all necessary colors. It twists just as easy and holds it sparkling color just as good as the regular SSS Braid. The holographic silver and gold braid is today tied in on tens of thousands of flies worldwide! SSS Flash Wing Flash
The SSS Flash Wing Flash is designed to achieve both volume and movement without the use of hair fibers. It features crinkle fibers in unique color blends, ensuring that the flash remains untangled and provides lifelike motion without collapsing. Use it on the TTT and BTT tubes, paired with a synthetic underwing to enhance buoyancy and support the soft swimming fibers. This version offers increased volume compared to the regular SSS Flash. Mikael’s flies typically have wings constructed using two colors, with a darker shade on top. The deep color spectrum adds sparkle and shine to the fly, giving it a vibrant, lifelike appearance in the water.

SSS Dubbing
The ultimate qualities of dubbing are to create a body that reflects and lets through as much light as possible. Most dubbings have very short strands to fit big flies. If you brush it half of the material will fall off which makes it impossible to get the right luster. The structure of the SSS Dubbing consists of transparent synthetic fibers, dyed and mixed with the SSS Angel Hair blends. The strands of the Angel Hair are cut long enough to enable the brushing without them falling off the body. The 15 color combinations gives you many imaginable variations for everything you tie! SSS Dubbing comes in 15 color blends.

SSS Braid
The SSS braids comes in a quality which makes it perfect for all forms of bodies and ribbings. It’s not too thick to overlap or to be twisted. If a fly needs ribbing, use the same material but twist it into a round or oval form. The harder you twist the smaller flies it fits. It is simple and effective and you can use the same quality for both body and ribbing. The material is placed on a smart gizmo that has a nice end cap that makes the material stay in place. The braids are 2 mm wide and there are 20 feet in each pack. The SSS Braid comes in 15 colors.

Mikael Frödin uses Angel Hair in almost all his fly creations today. In the smallest flies merely one or two strands of Angel Hair as the only flash element. In the bigger flies Angel Hair is mixed with a natural hair to create an optimal and appetizing mix. Mikael often made his own mixtures, color combinations to harmonize well with his patterns. It was rather natural for him to start creating his own Angel Hair blends. Mikael has put together 15 different blends where three of them have strongly fluorescent streaks. With these blends you can tie all kinds of creations – from the smallest fly for sunny days to the meanest, biggest fly for the murkiest water. Choosing the right color have never been easier! HD stands for heavy duty. This is a heavier type of Angel Hair. The material is somewhere between common flash and the original Angel Hair quality. Many times you experience the common flash to be too heavy and the Angel Hair too thin. Voila! The solution was Angel Hair HD. We have longed for this material for a very long time. This material replaces the flash in small flies and the Angel Hair in the bigger ones. This kind also comes in 15 different color blends. You get the whole color chart with the three hot, fluorescent colors as an extra spicy alternative.

Hackle Plier
This unique hackle plier with its spring loaded hard gripping point is a high quality, 13 cm tool of high carbon steel. The swivel handle and the rubber tip make it possible to wind even the weakest hackle fibers without braking. The high dead weight makes it possible to let go without feathers unwinding.
Tube Cutter
A new handy tool for measuring and cutting your FITS Tubing. The carbon steel tool cuts all four diameters of FITS Tubing with razor sharp accuracy. The tool comes with a non-slip rubber bottom, spring loaded razor cutter and steel bottom measuring plate. A fantastic little tool that makes all tubing same length and all cuts perfect without pressing tubing flat.
Ceramic Bobbin
A classic bobbin design with a ceramic pipe that allows use of the thinnest threads. The neat 10 cm design lets the hand surround the bobbin with total control of thread pressure. Polished steel ball sides and flat thumb grip makes this bobbin very easy to use.
Dubbing Brush
Made of the toughest 1.5 cm velcro on a 15 cm stainless steel handle with an ergonomically friendly grip makes this brush super effective. Comb hair, brush out dubbing or pick single strands. For us this tool is an absolute must for every fly we tie. A copy of Mikael’s old “mustard spoon brush” which he created hundreds of thousands of salmon flies with.
Ergo Tungsten Scissors
We love this design. Once you’ve started to tie with a crooked scissor you will never want to go back to the classic design. The angle allows a straighter wrist and lower elbow – just ergonomically superior to a straight pair of blades. This crooked scissor is 10 cm in size with a 2,5 cm long razor sharp cutting edge in super high quality carbide technique. This is Mikael’s absolute favorite scissors.
